About the Panel

Deepa Sabhapathy

Deepa Sabhapathy is the Senior Vice President, People & Culture for Treasury Americas, leading the HR function and all People programs. She joined TWE in January 2020, and since then has boldly led several initiatives, including programs to support employees through the pandemic, enhancing the quality of our employee wellness programs and being a champion of our IE&D efforts. As a key member of the Americas Leadership Team, she has led and executed the people workstreams for all the divestments, reorganizations, and acquisition that the business initiated over the last four fiscal years. She actively leads business imperatives, while translating them into people strategies that meet our employee’s needs. She is passionate about IE&D and is an active supporter, sponsor and a voice to several ERGs. As we continue to plan for the upcoming year, ensuring that we remain a desirable place to work and maintain a “people-first” culture, is of high priority to her. This would incorporate various levers including investing in employee development, offering the highest quality of employee programs in-line with the changing talent landscape, and maintaining an employee- friendly work environment, where our employees thrive.

Over her expansive 23-year HR career, Deepa has held HR leadership roles of increasing responsibility, in a variety of industries including Financial services, Information Technology, Professional services and CPG. Prior to TWE, Deepa led the HR organization for Environmental Resources Management, leading people programs for a large geography spread over 20 states. She has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
