Jen Fisher

Jen is a leading voice on the intersection of work, well-being, and purpose. She’s the coauthor of the bestselling, award-winning book, Work Better Together: How to Cultivate Strong Relationships to Maximize Well-Being and Boost Bottom Lines, the human sustainability editor-at-large for Thrive Global, and the host of the WorkWell podcast series.

As the first chief well-being officer of a professional services organization, Jen built and led the creation of a pioneering holistic and inclusive well-being strategy that has received recognition from leading business media brands and associations. Jen is a frequent writer on issues impacting the workplace today and has been featured in CNBC, CNN, Fast Company, Fortune, Inc, and Harvard Business Review, among others.
She’s a sought-after speaker who has been featured at events including TEDx and has lectured at top universities across the country. Jen lives in Miami with her husband and dog.

Tom Insel, M.D.

Psychiatrist and neuroscientist Tom lnsel, M.D. is a national leader in mental health research, policy, and technology. Dr. Insel served as Director of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) from 2002-2015 and led the mental health team at Verily (formerly Google Life Sciences) in South San Francisco from 2015-2017. In 2017, he also co-founded Mindstrong Health, a Silicon Valley start-up building tools for people with serious mental illness.

Since May of 2019, Dr. Insel has been a special advisor to California Governor Gavin Newsom and has served as chair of the board of the Steinberg Institute in Sacramento. In 2020, he co-founded Humanest Care, a therapeutic online community for recovery, and in 2022, he co-founded Vanna Health where he currently serves as executive chair. Vanna Health is focused on the needs of people with serious mental illness and works with community partners to provide the 3 Ps (people, place, and purpose) for recovery.

Dr. Insel is the author of the book “Healing: Our Path from Mental Illness to Mental Health,” published by Penguin Random House. With journalist co-founders, he recently launched MindSite News (mindsitenews.org), a non-profit digital publication focused on mental health issues.
A member of the National Academy of Medicine, Dr. Insel has received numerous national and international awards, including honorary degrees in the U.S. and Europe.

Briana Duffy

Briana is a seasoned leader with experience in both the provider and payer sectors of behavioral health. In her current role at Carelon Behavioral Health, she collaborates with stakeholders to ensure high quality care is accessible across the social and healthcare spectrum. Briana is known for her strategic focus on continuous quality improvement and her ability to innovate with a person-first approach. She holds a master’s degree in business management from Cambridge College and is also a licensed social worker.

Alethea Varra

Alethea Varra, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and vice president of clinical care for Lyra Health. She serves as the senior clinical leader for therapy programs and is responsible for driving overall clinical strategy and oversight of clinical quality and training. Alethea received a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. She completed her internship training at VA Puget Sound Healthcare System and a research fellowship at the Mental Illness Research and Education Center (MIRECC) in Seattle. She has over 15 years of experience in mental health and clinical operations. Her focus is on health care innovation and program development, and she is passionate about improving access to evidenced-based mental health care, especially for underserved populations.
