Briahn Badelle, LCSW is the Manager of the Special Projects team with Provider Network Development at Lyra as well as a Black at Lyra ERG leader. Briahn earned her masters degree in social work and prior to Lyra worked in various mental health spaces as a student services director for middle and high school students, a wellness director at a large youth non-profit, a trauma medical social and as a private practice owner (and former Lyra DA therapist). Briahn’s mission is to help grow a diverse network of amazing therapists and to create spaces where Lyraians with varying intersections can show up as their authentic selves.
Dr. Keren Lehavot is a licensed clinical psychologist who joined Lyra Health in 2022 as a Senior Clinical Training Lead for Culturally Responsive Care. She obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Washington in 2010 and completed her internship and fellowship at the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System (VAPSHCS) in Seattle, WA, where she worked for over a decade prior to joining Lyra. In her work as a Core Investigator at VAPSHCS and Associate Professor at the University of Washington, she was responsible for a research program that focused on health disparities for vulnerable populations, LGBTQIA+ mental health, barriers in access to care, adapted treatments for diverse populations, and risk factors and consequences of trauma. In service of this work, she obtained research funding from the National Institutes of Health, the VA, and the Centers for Disease Control and published over 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. She has also served on multiple national boards and committees, including for the VA’s Office of Research Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Working Group and as a LGBTQIA+ Content Expert for the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act’s Annual Evaluation Initaitve. Dr. Lehavot is passionate about reducing health disparities for minoritized populations and promoting inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive care.
