WEBINAR REPLAY
Learn how the pandemic is affecting alcohol and substance use and how employers can both support employees who are struggling
Across the U.S., 13% of people report starting or increasing substance use to cope with the overwhelming stress and emotions related to COVID-19. Substance use was already an epidemic, and with the recent increased use, decreased social support, and closure of inpatient treatment facilities fueled by the pandemic it has made it even harder for those who are struggling.
Join clinicians and substance use experts Smita Das, MD, PhD, MPH and Liz Rojas, PhD, to learn why substance use is increasing during the pandemic, the impact it could have long term, and what employers can do to better support their employees.
