About the Panel

Melissa McMahon

Melissa McMahon is the chief people officer for PatientPoint, a healthcare technology company. Prior to PatientPoint, Melissa was the chief human resources officer for Athletico, where she also served as a regular Board participant and led Athletico’s Board Compensation Committee.

Melissa also spent several years as the vice president of talent for CDW, a Fortune 200, $18B technology solutions provider. Melissa was responsible for leading CDW's talent management priorities, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, culture, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion practices. Melissa served on the Board of Directors for CDW’s Women’s Opportunity Network and was the Chair for CDW’s Women’s Emerging Leader Network. During her tenure, she received the STAR Chicago Talent Acquisition Executive of the Year Award.

Melissa started her career with Accenture where she spent 15 years in various human resources and global talent acquisition leadership positions, including serving as a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) leader for Accenture HR Services, an Accenture outsourcing affiliate company. Melissa holds a master’s degree in communication from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal and public communication from Central Michigan University.

Maya Hayes

Maya Hayes, MPH, is a senior consultant for caregiver well-being at Providence. She has a Master of Public Health from University of California, Berkeley, and is a certified nutrition educator. Maya has been working to bring well-being benefits to Providence caregivers since 2017. Maya’s experience also includes EAP benefits, teaching health education classes, group facilitation, health coaching, nutrition and diabetes education, customer service and support, project management, and more. She has also received specialized training in motivational interviewing. Maya lives in Northern California with her husband, two small children, and two dogs.

Keren Wasserman

Keren Wasserman is the organizational effectiveness program manager on the workforce mental health team at Lyra Health. Keren has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Chicago. Prior to Lyra Health, she worked as a management consultant focused on large-scale change management implementations. Keren's mission is to help organizations create healthy workplaces through embedding well-being strategies into the design of employees’ day-to-day work.
